Target

Hello! This has been a long time coming. My daughter and I are there every week at least. I have a red card and I used to thoroughly enjoy shopping there. First of all, the Starbucks has been a huge disappointment. They are continuously out of product. I realize this is not the barista's fault, but the service and drinks have been sub par. The customer service in the store is seriously lacking. I feel the associates go out of there way to ignore customers. I would just like a hi and/or a how are you? I worked in customer service for years, I know it can be challenging. If it was only occasionally, then I wouldn't mention it. I'm just really disappointed. What happened to being a guest??

On October 21 2023, I went to Target around 8 pm to just browse and do some light shopping. I was being followed by an employee in a bright green vest. When I was in the skin care aisle looking at products, that employee "coincidentally" ended up on the same aisle doing inventory. He asked how I was doing, I answered, and continued pondering if I wanted to purchase that item. When I decided I didn't want the item, I put it back on the shelf and moved on to the next aisle. When I moved to the next item, that employee questioned if I picked up 2 other skin care items and put them in my basket. I told him no, and I only had one in my basket. Basically, he didn't believe me and accused me of stealing. I straight up asked him if he was accusing me of stealing, and he told me he was just telling me what he saw. I showed him the inside of my purse and turned my pockets inside out to prove I didn't steal anything. He looked kind of flustered, said something, and walked away. I was in shock. I took the basket I had and sat it in the middle of the main aisle. I went to the customer service counter and requested to speak to the manager. I made her aware of what happened and that I did not feel comfortable shopping at this location. She apologized, and that was it. Idk if any action was taken against that employee. I still do not feel comfortable shopping in this location right now. Since then, I've had time to think. Now I believe I would get followed around that Target every time I shop there. Especially when I'm not in my military uniform. I am extremely disappointed with this Target store. Hopefully I can shop there again soon and not be uncomfortable. I love Target and the Cheyenne Target is pretty decent.

I hate the fact they went to mostly self checkout. That's a turn-off for me. I don't work there, I don't get paid nor get benefits. I shouldn't have to check myself out. Also, forever, I'd go in, and they had like 5 carts. They said that people were stealing them. Well, do something about it and buy more. I can't shop without a cart. One, I have a bad back and need the cart to lean on. I will only go to Target if I absolutely have to as if I can't find what I'm looking for somewhere else. They raised their prices, make you work for your purchases, and give you no cart to use. That's a no for me.

This Target is one of my favorite Target locations to visit. While it doesn't have a full grocery section (fresh fruits etc), it does have a wide variety of products to choose from. I always get great customer service here and the employees are always pleasant to speak with. The Starbucks employees are the absolute best and always at the top of their game! Organization of stock is great, I don't have to walk around aimlessly looking for items. Most items are always in stock. The store is always clean every time I visit! I can't complain about this location!

I am a Pokémon card collector that came into the store today to purchase cards for the new set. I had Joe assist me. I asked if they had any cards from the set that released today as they were not on the sales floor. He stated they were delivered and they might be in the back but the person in charge is super busy and we’ll just have to come back later. No offer to check for us… nothing…:/ I spent a couple hundred dollars at GameStop instead of target because of that. FYI they’ve had to restock already today. Maybe show a little urgency and don’t blame the vendor?? You have people in your store excited for your store to be a connector to their hobby and your staff couldn’t care less about making their experience ideal. I tried to explain about the sales being lost and how other collector friends left target to give GameStop their business and the employees just let me know that’s out of their control… no it’s not. You stated they were in the back, and didn’t care enough to check so we could make a purchase.
